Codere Online Appoints Michal Elimelech to Board of Directors

Codere Online has designated Michal Elimelech to its governing body.

Elimelech is an experienced gaming leader with more than 15 years in the field, having occupied several VP roles throughout her career.

The company revealed Elimelech’s addition during its yearly shareholder gathering, hosted at the company’s headquarters. She joins the Codere Online board as one of four executives chosen by Codere Newco S.A., taking over for Oscar Iglesias.

“The endorsement of all AGM resolutions by our investors shows their belief in Codere Online’s strategic path and future outlook,” stated Patrick Ramsey, Board Chair. “On behalf of the Board, I want to express gratitude to our shareholders for their ongoing backing and involvement as we proceed to carry out our defined plan.”

Elimelech contributes extensive expertise to Codere, having dedicated over 15 years at 888 Holdings. During her time there, she held numerous crucial VP positions, including Head of US Marketing, Head of Bingo, and Managing Director of EMEA Developed Markets. In the latter capacity, she had complete financial responsibility for mainland Europe, encompassing Germany, the UK, and the Nordic countries.

Her most recent positions were Chief Marketing Officer at Space Ape Games and Chief Operating Officer at Passiflora.

Her digital marketing and market expansion knowledge is exactly what Codere Online requires as they seek to increase their footprint in Spain and Latin America.”

The gathering also witnessed other board changes. Notably, the Compliance Committee, previously an advisory body, was formally promoted to a Board Committee. Furthermore, Borja Fernández assumed the position of Audit Committee Chair, succeeding Dr. Martin M. Werner, who will stay on the committee.
