Boyd Gaming Corporation is resuming operations at its gambling establishments in Louisiana and Mississippi following their closure due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The company intends to restart its casinos in Louisiana on May 20th, with the Amelia Belle Casino and Sam’s Town Shreveport resuming operations the following week.

Boyd Gaming also anticipates reopening its IP Casino Resort Spa and Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino in Mississippi on May 21st.

These will be the first of Boyd Gaming’s properties in the United States to resume operations since they were all shuttered in mid-March due to state directives aimed at curbing the spread of the coronavirus.
